We believe leadership starts in the studio. Our Leadership Program empowers dancers in 6th–12th grade to grow as role models, classroom assistants, and mentors. Kay’s Dance Movement is proud to host Tulsa’s only chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts. This prestigious program recognizes middle and high school dancers for their dedication to dance, leadership, academic excellence, and service. Members earn national recognition, community involvement opportunities, and graduation honors — all while growing into well-rounded artists and individuals.
The KDM Performance Team brings dance beyond the studio and into the heart of our community. Open to dancers who love to perform, this team showcases their talent through monthly appearances at local events, community events, sporting events, and festivals. With a focus on teamwork, expression, and service, our performers spread joy while gaining valuable stage experience and learning the importance of giving back.
KDM Choreo Lab is a creative space where dancers become choreographers. Open to students interested in exploring movement creation, this program encourages originality, collaboration, and artistic voice. Whether experimenting with solos or group work, dancers learn the tools to shape their own pieces — building confidence, creativity, and a deeper understanding of dance as an art form.
